
Emily leads racial justice work at a national, faith-based women’s organization.
Prior to her current role, Emily has worked as:
- director and lead organizer for a statewide, faith-based antipoverty coalition;
- program manager for an education non-profit;
- lay associate pastor for discipleship at a new church plant; and
- labor organizer with a healthcare employees’ union.
She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Chicago Theological Seminary, a BA in religious studies and ethnicity, race and migration from Yale University and a certificate in spiritual direction from the Claret Center.
